Walking the Walk
In my country, senior citizens who join walking clubs go to air-conditioned shopping malls and count their progress by how many times they pass the McDonalds before stopping in for ice cream.
In Switzerland, senior citizens sling a pack on their backs and tramp through alpine passes, forest trails and country lanes. Before breakfast. And after dinner. (more…)
